Turning Incident Patterns into Prevention Priorities

Serious incidents often occur in recurring combinations of tasks, equipment, and hazardous conditions. EngSafety identifies these patterns to help prioritize the situations where prevention efforts can have the greatest impact and clarify what people need to recognize and understand when facing similar situations in practice.

Strengthening Competency in Rigging, Hoisting and Lifting

Rigging, hoisting and lifting involve complex decisions, changing conditions, and the potential for severe consequences. EngSafety works with industry to identify the critical competencies required for this work, determine how those competencies can be demonstrated, and develop practical approaches for induction and ongoing verification.

Closing the Gap Between Procedures and Field Work

Procedures may be technically sound but still be difficult to understand, communicate, or apply in the field. EngSafety works with industry to understand where information can be lost between written procedures, instructions, and field execution, and to explore and evaluate ways to improve understanding, communication, and verification.
